Christ Church Community Centre

Christ Church Community Centre is a community organisation and an integral part of the outreach program of the Anglican Parish of Christ Church, North Adelaide. The Centre grew out of a vision to reach out with a whole-of-community approach addressing areas of recognised need.

At Christ Church Community Centre we realise the importance of reaching out to the community in friendship and support, offering programs to meet the needs of older residents, children, families and young people where gaps in services have been recognised. Our aim is to implement and deliver programs and activities in North Adelaide and the surrounding area that meet the needs of local residents and develop linkages with the church and the broader community.

Most staff are volunteers of the parish who offer their services in tutoring, hosting groups as well as cooking and service for the Friendship Lunches. The Coordinator of the Centre, Julie Day, is employed part-time. The Centre is presently open four days a week.

Friendship Lunches

The Centre has a large air-conditioned hall and commercial kitchen facilities. The hall and kitchen are available for hire. For details contact the church office on Ph: 8267 2673

Christ Church Community Centre is part of the Anglican Parish of Christ Church complex.
The church office is open between the hours of 9am - 4pm Monday to Friday.
